Eccleston Square Hotel Launches The Merry Christmas Afternoon Tea!

Punctuate the chaos of Christmas shopping in London this season with the Merry Christmas Afternoon Tea, the brilliant new festive fusion brought to you by the award winning luxury boutique, Eccleston Square Hotel

Walk past the cramped chain cafes, slice through the mania of London’s bustling high streets, to the privacy of Eccleston Square where the twinkling, welcoming lights at number 37 welcome tired feet, aching arms and those suffering from shopper’s-block.

The Merry Christmas Afternoon Tea is a gourmet hybrid of two quintessential British favourites. The softest, most delightful selection of festive finger sandwiches are presented with warm fruit scones, clotted cream and the sweetest strawberry jam. A near gluttonous supply of Christmas pastries such as mince pies, Christmas tree cupcakes and mini Christmas puds are complemented with a steaming, reviving brew from Canton Teas.

Don’t shop tired! That’s how mistakes happen. Take a breather, refuel and recharge and even research! Eccleston Square Hotel is indeed the shopper’s friend as it has fast, free Wi-Fi and a charging unit for mobiles and laptops at each seat in the restaurant so a little store surfing online might just save some time.

Served seven days a week from 14:00 – 18:00 the Merry Christmas Afternoon Tea is actually everyone’s cup of tea. Take it as a late lunch, use it as an opportunity to catch up with an old friend on the way home from work or as an edacious weekend treat.

Once the palatial dwelling of Princess Victoria, Eccleston Square Hotel is now a sleek, chic boutique hotel - located just a few minutes’ walk from the tube, train and bus stations at London Victoria.

This special afternoon tea runs from Monday 24th November until Monday 12th January. Reservations are recommended – do it now at stay@ecclestonsquarehotel.com, by telephoning +44 (0)20 3489 1000 and through www.ecclestonsquarehotel.
