Vacation Planning Tips for Vapers

Vaping has become a big trend in recent years, and for many people has been the only way they have found to successfully give up smoking tobacco. The vaping sector is such big business that there are even companies who specialize in helping brands who create vape related products like e-cig devices and e-liquids to market themselves in a compliant way (visit this site for more information about this if it of interest to your business). There are also all kinds of niches now in the vaping world including vegan e-liquids.

While vaping may be big news in many countries, however, it is not something that is treated the same way – or is even legal – all over the world. This means that as a vaper, you should make sure you do your research into attitudes around vaping before you book a trip abroad.

Can You Legally Vape Where You Are Going?

In some countries, vaping laws actually vary by state, and so you will need to check not only the country but the destination within the country if you are going somewhere with diverse state laws, like Australia. In fact, you should even check this when traveling to another part of the USA.

In countries where the laws apply to the whole nation, you find that some do not allow vaping or the purchase or sale of vape related products at all. When you consider the European Union, laws can still differ between countries. In many countries, vaping is legal and socially acceptable, and the products are easy to find in shops. This is the case, for example, in the UK or in Italy. However, in other European countries, there are heavier restrictions. In Hungary, for example, vaping itself is legal, but only if the e-liquid doesn't contain nicotine.

In some other countries, for example Turkey, vaping is outright illegal, so you'd probably want to know that before picking your destination!

How Much of a Vaping Culture is There?

In some places, for instance most of Western Europe, vaping is common place and nobody will be surprised to see you doing it. However, in others where it may not be so popular (even where legal), you may find people confused by it and thinking you are smoking tobacco, or that the vapor is harmful. Knowing what the culture is around vaping before you go means you'll know how discreet you need to be.

Buying and Bringing In E-Liquids

Some countries where vaping is legal have limits on how much e-liquid you can bring in. Typically, this will be somewhere in the region of a three month supply, so is only an issue if you are going for a prolonged trip. However, it is worth finding out how easy it is to buy vaping gear in your chosen country so you can stock up ahead if you need to.

Being able to vape on vacation is obviously something every vaper wants, however it shouldn't be taken for granted that this will be allowed everywhere, so research before you choose a place to visit!
