All across Europe, a number of new and exciting hotels are being developed that are as diverse and engaging as the continent itself.  Discerning visitors seek out Europe as a cosmopolitan and chic destination – all at once cutting edge and cultured – and expect their chosen accommodation to reflect this stylish and eclectic atmosphere.  Whilst there are already a vast number of high quality hotels and resorts to choose from, nothing can quite compare to a stay in a brand new hotel.

Mondrian Hotel
London, United Kingdom

The first Mondrian Hotel in Europe will be opening its doors in London.  Situated on South Bank and overlooking the River Thames, the property will be a redevelopment of the prominent Sea Containers House.  The hotel will embody the elegance of a transatlantic 1920s liner combined with a healthy dose of 1980s post-modernism. 

Each of the hotel's 360 rooms will be furnished with custom designed furniture, and feature rich colour palettes contrasted with standout metallic pieces, following a theme embraced throughout the hotel.  Drawing from the signature colours of the Morgans ‘Agua’ brand, the spa aims to create a feeling of under-water tranquillity, taking inspiration from the cocooning nature of a submarine.

This centrally located Mondrian Hotel provides easy access to the internationally acclaimed Tate Modern Gallery, Festival Hall, and both National and Globe Theatres, for those seeking the cultural lure of the capital. 

Hilton Bom Sucesso

Obidos, Portugal

This five-star hotel will boast privileged views of its 18-hole golf course and extensive, luscious gardens.  There will be 120 gorgeous guestrooms available, two bars and three full service restaurants, offering a range of international and national delights.  A spa and fitness centre is also at the disposal of guests, as well as indoor and outdoor swimming pools and tennis courts for the more active holidaymaker. 

Designed by Eduardo Souto de Moura, the project is developed in two ‘bodies’, one body being the main wing of rooms, spa and restaurant area, and the other body will serve as an extensive venue for conferences and other events. 

Hilton Bom Sucesso will be the third Hilton brand property in Portugal, and is just a 10 minute drive from the town of Obidos on the Silver Coast.  Obidos is a stunning location, famed as a preserved medieval town set on a hill encircled by a fortified wall.
 
The Gainsborough Bath Spa

When the Gainsborough Bath Spa finally opens its illustrious doors, it will be the only hotel in the UK to direct access to natural thermal waters.  Taking inspiration from the legacy of the Roman Springs, the Gainsborough Bath Spa offers a contemporary perspective of the city’s heritage and will provide its guests with a relaxing and rejuvenating city escape.
 
Consisting of three historic buildings, the lower level of the property will be home to the Spa Village Bath - guests will be able to “take the waters” in complete luxury.  Encompassing a traditional Roman bath room, a steam room, an ice chamber and relaxation areas, the Gainsborough perfectly blends ancient treatments with modern and elegant surroundings. 

Created by award winning Champalimaud Design, the guest rooms and suites are custom furnished, seamlessly merging period details with contemporary touches.  Housed in a sumptuous Georgian, Grade II listed building, the hotel will surely enable Bath to continue its long tradition of providing healing experiences.
