At Hotel Keflavík you will find 70 well-appointed guest rooms and suites.  The rooms are equipped Bang Olufsen TVs and state of the art Sony flat screen TVs with up to 200 satellite channels, a mini-bar, safe, trouser press, coffee and tea making facilities – but although the hotel offers the amenities you would expect to find at larger chain hotels, Hotel Keflavík has retained its personality and the spirit of a boutique hotel.  Such features as ‘Roaring20s’ inspired wallpaper and authentic Icelandic paintings (commissioned for each room in sets of three or four) ensure a unique touch. 

The hotel is a home to one of the town’s most popular restaurant, KEF Restaurant and Bar, a favourite amongst locals and travellers alike.  The new restaurant owners and management team have placed a great emphasis on providing only quality ingredients along with an expanded wine list and great personal service, under head chef Jenny Runarsdottir, winner of the popular TV show Master Chef.

The Diamond Floor
 
The Diamond Floor is found on the top floor of Keflavík, and offers exclusivity at its finest.  A five star floor in a four star hotel, the Diamond Floor comprises of five luxurious suites, with the possibility to rent out the entire floor as a single Presidential Suite.
 
Ranging from 300-820 square feet, the five suites offer a wide range of amenities and the best facilities you’ll find in Iceland.  The rooms feature deluxe furniture, state of the art Bang Olufsen flat screen TVs, in-room iMac computers, Nespresso coffee machines, complimentary drinks and beverages and a spacious sitting area for the comfort and relaxation of guests.  One of the suites even features a private outdoor Jacuzzi, whilst a further two provide balconies and ocean views.
 
Guests have direct private elevator access to the floor, access to Hotel Keflavík’s fitness centre and the renowned KEF Restaurant and Bar where head chef Jenny Runarsdottir is waiting to prepare the most unforgettable cuisine for discerning palates.
 
For unrivalled exclusivity and heightened privacy, guests can rent out the entire floor as a single Presidential Suite.  In this capacity, the Diamond Floor serves as the largest Presidential Suite in all of Scandinavia, at a staggering 2,400 square feet.  Guests of the Presidential Suite are provided access to a private Range Rover for the duration of their stay, and can enjoy such additional services and daily massages and a personal butler service. 

Currently in the last phase of its construction, the management at Hotel Keflavík plans to open the Diamond Floor
to the public in May 2015.
