Sarfraaz Patel always wanted to build something great, and while working at Ford Motor Company, he had a vision to build a luxury car hire company that was different from anything he had experienced before – Sarfraaz envisioned a company that cared about its customers and employers offering the latest luxury cars at the best prices possible.  In 2006 the vision became a reality and Season Car Hire (SCH) was born.
 
Sarfraaz is focused on taking Season Car Hire to the next level and the intention of the next 12 months is to increase revenue substantially by using management skills and having an even more successful team.  Season Car Hire has recently moved to new facilities close to Canary Wharf and has a fantastic fleet of cars, with a continuing resolution to constantly add to their fleet.

What is your background and why did you set up Season Car Hire?
 
Season Car Hire is a Luxury Car Hire company based in the East End of Greater London.  Established in 2006, Season Car Hire has now been operating for eight years providing luxury and super cars for hire for any occasion around the United Kingdom.  Season Car Hire was established as my team and myself felt there was a need for a Luxury Car Company that offered first class service and vehicles that you could not hire through car rental companies.
 
What was the first car you bought when starting the business?
 
The first car I purchased to set up the business was a Ford Fiesta.
 
Am I right in saying that you own all of your own vehicles?
 
Yes, I own all of the vehicles.  It makes it much easier for our clients to hire as well, as there is no ‘middle man.’
 
What are the most popular vehicles from your range?
 
It’s hard to say as we have a wide range of luxury cars but the Lamborghini LP700 seems to be very popular at the moment.  A lot of our clients also seem to enjoy our Mercedes AMG range.
 
Are there any vehicles that you are looking to add to your collection?
 
We are always looking to add new vehicles to our range.  At the moment we are looking at the latest Mercedes to add to the range although we have just purchased a Lamborghini LP570 Performante and a Mercedes G63.
 
Ten years ago you would perhaps see one or two Lamborghini’s or Ferrari’s on the road.  Now they are becoming more and more frequent.  Why do you think the supercar experience is becoming increasingly popular?
 
In the larger cities I think you see more luxury/high end sports cars.  I think this has a lot to do with the fact that we have had high wealth individuals move to the UK as well as having many successful people in the UK.  Also, luxury cars are becoming desirable to some and it is a lot easier to obtain such cars than ten years ago.
 
What excursions are customer’s frequently booking supercars for?
 
People use our cars for all sorts of things such as weddings, romantic weekends away and business meetings, etc.
 
Are you finding that more people are utilising these vehicles for corporate clients or business events?
 
We find that we have our regular clients who love to be in different cars, right through to your corporate.
 
Are airport transfer packages or concierge services something that Season Car Hire could offer?
 
We will pick up clients from anywhere and also deliver the vehicles to wherever the customer desires.  We also offer chauffer services.
 
Are there any limitations or restrictions on what a customer can do with the car?
 
The only restriction we really have is that you have to be 25+ to hire one of our vehicles.  Other than that, the only thing we request is that the car is returned in the same condition it was delivered in.
 
You offer a delivery service throughout the UK.  Can you tell us how that works?
 
The delivery system is simple; we will deliver the vehicles to wherever the customer is.  We have two trucks that we load the vehicles onto and then have our drivers deliver the vehicles to the destinations.  It is important to us that people experience a fantastic service from Season Car Hire and we ensure the vehicles are always delivered with a full tank of fuel.  We also make sure our drivers show the customers around the vehicles and how everything works.
