Chalets
 
A delightful collection of 14 delightful deadwood log cabins, set on the shores   of Lake Salonkijärvi, provide the perfect introduction to the enchanting natural setting of Rukan Salonki.  Guests can take advantage of their prime location and enjoy a range of stimulating activities; swim or fish in the lake, test your skills on the Frisbee golf course and, during the winter months, enjoy speeding down the donut-tobogganing hill.  And therein lies the beauty of Rukan Salonki – during winter, guests are exposed to just as thrilling a time as summer visitors.  The resort can arrange various adventurous activities, such as snowmobiling and husky safaris, whilst snowshoes are also available at an additional fee.  Additionally, a cross-country ski track leisurely winds through the area, with connections to the vast trails of Ruka and Kuusamo. 
 
Each of the chalets (accommodating between four and 16 guests) is well-equipped with a range of home comforts designed to ensure your stay is a relaxing as possible.  Amenities include a refrigerator, electric stove and over, a dishwasher and broadband access, offset against delightful features such as a beautiful fireplace.  A number of chalets also offer additional features such as washing machines and en-suite bathrooms.  To further enhance your relaxation and well-being, Rukan Salonki can provide at request a number of additional services including catering, grocery deliveries, car rental and pampering sauna treatments.

Enhanced by the beautiful Lapland scenery, Restaurant Kultala serves as the perfect location for meetings or private parties.  The charming log restaurant comfortably holds up to 50 guests, whilst the high quality menu – featuring locally grown produce and the freshest fish available – has been designed to offer an authentic taste of Finland.  During the summer an elegant pavilion, accommodating up to 100 diners, is erected next to the restaurant whilst the winter, guests can visit the Ice Bar and enjoy a delicious range of hot and cold drinks.
