Exploring Somewhere New- The Ivory Coast

You will never find a place more unique and attractive than the Ivory Coast.  With its stunning picturesque views, vibrant and warm atmosphere, visitors will leave in ore of the country.  There are several fantastic places in the Ivory Coast all of which boast specialities.  The country is always developing and is at the forefront of exquisite and exclusive lifestyles. 
 
Abidjan
 
Serving as the capital for 50 years from 1933, Abidjan is the most fascinating city in the Ivory Coast.  Known as the “Paris in Africa” Abidjan has been beautified by a number of luscious green garden squares and fascinating culture.  There are a number of museums just waiting for their history to be explored.  The city can also be referred to as “The lagoon pearl” as it is situated on the Ébrié Lagoon, consisting of several peninsulas that are linked by bridges.  These provide breath taking views of the clear blue waters and the city itself. 
 
Gagnoa
 
The city provides a wonderful break for those who enjoy the simple and quiet life.  Gagnoa is at the central of agriculture, which is why tourists come here to enjoy their native delicacies and embrace real and traditional African culture.  Gagnoa boasts natural wonders which make your time here even more exquisite, especially its rich and healthful forests which are unspoiled to this day.  Being in Western Africa you will find nearby beaches with perfectly soft golden sands with clear blue waters, which are perfect for aquatic activities. 
 
Yamoussoukro
 
Yamoussoukro, also known as “Yam” is the modern day capital.  Although it has no embassies, government ministries or significant commercial activity, Yamaoussoukro is a tranquil retreat that still embraces the best of African culture.  The city is well known for its Basilica and the diverse lifestyle the locals lead.  The basilica was crafted using exotic materials, including imported colourful stain glass windows from France and marble from Italy.  If you are familiar with the Saint Peter Basilica you will be able to see the artistic and architectural inspirations from the renowned Renaissance masterpiece.  When looking at the Basilica it is easy to understand why this remarkably stunning building is a popular attraction.

Ivory Coast has fantastic views that are unique to the country.  You will never be bored, even when relaxing as there is always something to do.  Relish in the high-class resorts, explore real African culture or delight in the pleasures of their perfect beaches.  You will not be disappointed.

The Le Grand Large is a luxurious restaurant renowned for attracting celebrities.  The restaurant offers a haute cuisine with a fine dining experience as it attracts world wide superiors, especially with its exquisite sea food dishes and the chef’s specialities.    
 
What Do Do:  Court De Ivorie Golf Club
There are several golf courses in the Ivory Coast but this is the most respected of them all.  The Court de Ivorie golf course was once the European challenge tour event.   If you can prise yourself away from one of their many excluded pools and over the top pampering in their spas, enjoy their several golf courses that will challenge and satisfy you.
