Luxury at the Heart of Chamonix

Luxury at the Heart of Chamonix

The newly renovated Hotel Mont-Blanc welcomes you to an elegant and cosy setting found in the heart of the famous ski resort of Chamonix.  Chamonix’s most prestigious hotel opened its doors once again last year after a two year long renovation under the watchful eye of renowned French interior architect Sybille de Margerie with ambitious aims, but has managed to exceed even its own exacting standards.  With classic Victorian architecture that is typical of the Chamonix Valley and over 100 years of history encased within its walls, the hotel is a fusion of old world grandeur, refined mountain atmosphere and charming contemporary touches.

The hotel lies on a quiet street in the shadow of a Le Majestic, a 19th Century former palace and Chamonix’s most iconic building.  The first rate location offers easy access to the city’s stunning centre with its multitude of high end restaurants and shops offering the most prestigious brands for sporting goods and fashion.  Both the beginners’ slopes of Les Planards and the more advanced runs at Brevent lie within easy walking distance of the hotel, but the shuttle bus makes the journey completely effortless, allowing guests to combine a stay of thrilling sport and decadent experiences.

A Relaxing Stay

Hotel Mont-Blanc has 40 luxurious rooms and suites designed with elegance and tranquillity in mind, all of which boast first class amenities, including Flat screen TVs, mini bars and safes and complimentary Wi-Fi.  The Superior Rooms combine beautiful materials and soothing colours, taking their inspiration from nature and the incredible surroundings of the Chamonix valley to produce an atmosphere that is both welcoming and chic.  Larger in design, the Prestige Rooms is a haven of warm tones and elegant furniture, creating the perfect environment in which to relax after a day on the slopes.

For those that desire more space and privacy, the Junior Suites offer a private living room and king sized beds, in addition to a shower and bathtub designed inside of an ‘ice cube’, resulting in a unique and soothing mini-spa area.  The standout feature of the Junior Suites Mont-Blanc is undoubtedly the stunning face-on views of the famous mountain; guests can lounge on their private balconies and indulge in the inspiring panoramas.  The unique and spacious top floor Suites are drenched in light and include two bedrooms and bathrooms, a private sauna and a balcony.  By combining breath-taking view of Mont-Blanc with the latest technologies and finest materials, these suites stand out amongst the best luxury accommodation found in the French Alps.

Fine Dining

Designed around a large modern fireplace but with a private withdrawn feel to the tables and its beautiful gardens the chic new brasserie ‘Le Mont-Blanc’ is the perfect place to enjoy unforgettable gastronomic experiences.  Trained by Guy Martin at Le Grand Vefour, Chef Fabrice Gouret combines the best of regional French and Italian products to create innovative, quality recipes for guests to enjoy.  In his quest for perfection Fabrice uses only fresh seasonal produce, so expect the fare on offer to change throughout the year, and the wine list alone holds almost 400 choices.

The hotel bar’s relaxed and cosy atmosphere invites you to spend a convivial moment while discovering the fine selection of champagnes and wines, rendezvous for intimate moments or to meet with friends.  A place to have a drink or to eat at any time of the day, the beautifully decorated lounge bar opens onto a glass room bathed in light and stocked with comfortable sofas where you can gather with friends and family after a day of activities or relaxation to enjoy the ever present mountain panorama and with the arrival of summer, the Mont Blanc opens its stunning gardens.
