Save the date! The Game Fair is set to descend on Hertfordshire for the first time this July

For the first time in 59 years, The Game Fair is taking place at a venue close to central London – historic Hatfield House is located just 21 miles north of the Capital in rural Hertfordshire.

As the largest outdoor countryside-themed event in the world, The Game Fair is set to attract up to 120,000 visitors and 1,000 exhibitors across three days from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 July.

The Game Fair boasts a comprehensive itinerary for the whole family, including gundog handling, clay shooting, archery, fishing, falconry and ferreting. There’s also a full schedule for dog lovers including have-a-go events for the family pooch, working dog competitions, terrier racing, hound displays, gundog demonstrations plus there’ll be a professional dog behaviourist on site to answer on those burning questions.

TV host Gregg Wallace is set to return as the face of the Shot to Pot restaurant – providing visitors with a truly delicious culinary experience. A huge success last year, the 300 cover, 5-star restaurant, and 200 cover hospitality area will once again satisfy the growing demand for ‘farm to fork’ food provenance.

Accompanied children aged 8 and under can visit the show for free. Additionally, members of the British Association of Shooting & Conservation (BASC) will also receive complimentary entry to the event. Members of Countryside Alliance and the National Gamekeepers’ Organisation receive a discounted rate of £20 for tickets.

Tickets start from £22.50 per day for adults.
