The Berns’ Experience

The Berns’ Experience

Enveloped by lush parkland, Berns Hotel lies along a romantically secluded alleyway in the heart of Stockholm city centre.  Renowned for its elegance, Stockholm thrives on innovation and creativity, which is perfectly encapsulated by Berns’ amalgamation of traditional glamour and modern design.  Berns’ grand 19th Century construct is within walking distance of the pristine river front, the city’s prime shopping districts and the historical old town yet, the boutique hotel remains serene.

Attracting the most prominent figures from across the globe since 1863, Berns Hotel luxuriously blends time-honoured majesty and contemporary chic architecture.  The public space’s ooze ornate styling, swathed with crystal chandeliers, marble adornment and a rich decorative palette for an unparalleled regal ambience.  Nevertheless, Berns may be one of the city’s most prestigious and oldest establishments, but the hotel is utterly suited to curious cosmopolitans with a desire to unwind in a fresh, artistic and slick modern lodging.

Berns Hotel offer lavishly modish rooms from a choice of Standard Rooms, Superior Rooms, De Luxe Rooms and a variety of superior Suite options.  Each suite is individually fashioned to showcase the best of Swedish modern design and timeless antiques, and seamlessly utilise space and light to create an atmosphere which is both simple and quirky.  Rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, minibar, media dock, air-conditioning and premier skin care products.  Numerous rooms overlook a courtyard, and include balcony, and guests can choose between Queen and King sized beds.  For a thoroughly luxurious experience, Suite’s include a Jacuzzi or large bathtub, Nespresso machine, slippers and bathrobe.

The Berns’ Experience

Berns’ restaurants offer some of the most fabulous dining in Stockholm and guarantee to astonish the senses.  Established as Sweden’s first Chinese restaurant, Berns Asiatiska has been perfecting sublime flavours from all corners of Asia for over 70 years.  Hosted in an opulent salon, the institution offers a tantalising array of dishes throughout the day from delicious whole grilled walleye, to sashimi and dim sum.  Evoking oriental pleasure and exotic bliss, Asiatiskas cocktail bar and live performances inspire an extravagant ambience in which to indulge.  But, for a quintessentially French experience, Berns Bistro and Bar serve stunning classic French cuisine in a cosy and stylish surrounding.  Masters of authentic flavours and flawless hospitality, the Bistro also offers exquisite regional wines to the sounds of French radio.

Part hotel, part art complex, Berns captures spectacular jubilance and flamboyance every night of the week.  Throughout the weekends, thrilling DJs fill the open Terrace air with lively sounds, both old and new, to a dance floor overflowing with cheerfully spirited revellers.  Within the magnificently beautiful Great Salon, relish a night of intimate and glamorous celebration to the vibes of legendary DJ Johan Netz, and a multitude of music legends and the hottest newcomers.  For those interested in electronic dance music, the hotel’s club Gallery 2.35: 1 is a prominent meeting place for global followers and artists.  An exclusive members club, each of the Gallery’s eight clubs offer an additional 50 tickets per night.  Such a limited environment creates a truly extraordinary experience which is mesmerising and unforgettable.

Berns is the only hotel in Europe to offer guests a VIP wristband.  Those staying on a Friday or Saturday receive a VIP wristband that allows guests to jump the queues and get free entrance to Stockholm’s most distinguished nightclubs, off course including Berns' own famous nightclub Gallery 2.35:1.  As a part of this deal, aptly called “Berns Hotel Makes Your Weekend Rock”, guests also get to check out late a complimentary Bloody Mary (or Virgin Mary, dependent on personal preferences!)
