The city of Los Angeles also known as the "City of Angels" is the largest city in California.  Located on a broad basin in Southern California, it’s surrounded by vast mountain ranges, deep valleys, forests, desert, and the Pacific Ocean.

Known for being the center of the world’s entertainment industry LA has a host of things to do and see.

J. Paul Getty Museum

The museum at the Getty Center contains "Western art from the Middle Ages to the present;" its estimated 1.3 million visitors annually visit which makes it one of the most popular museums in the United States.  The museum at the Getty Villa contains art from "ancient Greece, Rome, and Etruria".

Griffith Observatory

Sitting on the south-facing slope of Mount Hollywood in L.A.'s Griffith Park, it commands a view of the Los Angeles Basin, including downtown Los Angeles to the southeast, Hollywood to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest.  The observatory is a popular tourist attraction with an extensive array of space- and science-related displays.

Universal Studios Hollywood

With thrilling theme park rides and shows, a real working movie studio and Los Angeles’ best shops, restaurants and cinemas at CityWalk, Universal Studios Hollywood is a unique experience that's fun for the whole family.

Paramount Studios

The only remaining "big name" studio located in Hollywood and the only continually operating studio in Tinseltown.  Offers behind-the-scenes tours to visitors.

Santa Monica Bay

Santa Monica Bay consists of 50 miles of scenic coastline with 22 separate public beaches, providing recreational opportunities to visitors year round.

Venice Beach

Venice was the creation and dream of one man, Abbott Kinney.  Kinney was an investor who built a sort of recreation of Venice, Italy including a massive system of canals and a huge entertainment complex.  Venice Beach, California, is a unique destination unto itself, where shopping, dining, sports, recreation, and entertainment abound.  Transport yourselves to an era of the past, present, and future, as you experience all that Venice Beach has to offer.
