Walking Dinner Arrives in Amsterdam
Ever felt torn between eating, sightseeing and socialising? Well your prayers have been answered by Walking Dinner, the new foodie sensation in Amsterdam.
Both locals and tourists alike can enjoy three courses in three different restaurants whilst taking in the sights the historical and modern city has to offer. From The Canals to The Royal Palace, the combination of eating, drinking and sightseeing is set to get the hearts of foodies racing.
Walking Dinner has already had success in London and Brighton as well as over 40 major cities across Europe including Paris, Rome, Madrid, London & Berlin, and is now looking to make its mark on Amsterdam.
It combines exquisite cuisines from Royal98, Restaurant Bleu and Restaurant In de Waag with a 20-30 minute self-guided walk between restaurants. Those going on this culinary adventure will enjoy a stroll across the famous Dam Square, up to the Anne Frank House, through the lively Red Light District and past the modern Church.
Dishes such as Vitello Tonato, Butcher Steak from Black Angus and a Grand Dessert will be enjoyed along the way. Diners chose their dish at each restaurant and each course is accompanied with a drink. The experience is perfect for friends and family, couples and definately corporate groups as well. It is a more interesting way to spend an evening enjoying dinner.
Jaap Habets, Communications Director of Walking Dinner, adds:
“Amsterdam is an amazing destination for a meal out with a vast range of sumptuous food on offer. A Walking Dinner experience is a great way to explore the well-known and less well-known sights while experiencing the ambiance of three restaurants and eating delicious food served with fine wine.
It’s designed to cater for diners who want to pause between courses for a change of scenery and means they can experience three great restaurants all in one evening! The experience is self-guided so groups can move at their own pace and stop along the way as they wish. We’re thrilled to have Royal 98, Restaurant Bleu and In de Waag on-board with their delectable menus.”
Rob Aarts, Director and Founder of Walking Dinner, says:
“Walking Dinner has already been a huge success across Europe and we know that Amsterdam is the perfect fit for an exciting route. People often book a Walking Dinner as a celebration such as a birthday treat or as part of a weekend away. It’s also perfect for couples, small groups or larger corporate groups to enjoy a city in a different way. The two walks in-between courses are around 20 minutes each, allowing plenty of time for all important photos and appeals to young and old alike.”
