Bake Sino Opens With a Splash in Phuket Town

Bake Sino Opens With a Splash in Phuket Town

PHUKET Cuisine Alert: The bypass road in Phuket Town was buzzing on July 18 when the new Bake Sino restaurant put on an elegant opening party for the island’s food and wine fans.
Bake Sino brings together the sweet, spicy and savoury flavours of the Bake, Flame and Pasta outlets found in the Cherng Talay-Laguna area near Bang Tao Beach. Having earned an enthusiastic following there, the minds behind this trio of great tastes decided it was time to take them to Phuket’s thriving capital city.

Found in the Sino@Bypass building next to the Index furniture shopping centre, Bake Sino is an ideal spot for a hearty meal, a relaxing coffee or a takeaway snack. Fusing Bake’s stylish sensibilities with the vivid pastel tones of Phuket’s historical Sino-Portuguese architecture gives diners a lively, uplifting haven to savour their fare.

Inside the restaurant’s cool, white interior offers the chance to watch the chefs in action and gain a close view of all the enticing offerings lining the shelves. Outside, enjoy the balmy tropical weather in the parasol-shaded garden dining area while watching the street life bustle by.
Bake brings a rich variety of baked goods, from breads to pastries, cakes, cookies and many other beautifully baked treats, plus gourmet coffees and teas. Bake’s fine desserts are perfect for an indulgent sweet fix to enjoy in the restaurant or to take away to share with family and friends at home or the office.

From the Pasta kitchen, a delectable range of tastes yet simplicity of choice is cooked up fresh and customised to each diner’s desires. Select from more than a dozen noodle varieties from spaghetti to ravioli and nearly 20 sauces including the classic Carbonara with bacon, eggs, cream and pecorino, a Marinara Bianco with seafood, onion, celery and carrot, or a Primavera with sun-dried tomato and vegetable.

Flame, meanwhile, churns out delicious kebabs and many more nice and spicy selections on its rotisserie. Try healthy and flavourful wraps, rotisserie chicken spiced in French, Indian, Arabic or Thai flavours, baby pork ribs, tender lamb leg, pizzas, tabbouleh salad ... and much more.

With Bake Sino’s convenient location along one of Phuket’s main thoroughfares, it’s easy to stop by for some fantastic takeaway. Simply call ahead to pre order your breakfast, lunch or dinner boxes and give your family, friends or co-workers the gift of a great, freshly-made meal.

This colourful new addition to Phuket Town is just the latest innovation by Twinpalms Phuket. Since opening its acclaimed contemporary resort at Surin Beach in 2004, the Phuket-based group has been at the leading-edge of the Thai island’s emergence as one of Asia’s most modern and exciting lifestyle and leisure destination.

The Twinpalms signature style and service now extends across a range of operations including Catch Beach Club, Andaman Cruises, Sun Spa, Twinpalms Gallery, plus Bimi Beach Club and Bongo Rum Bar, two new seaside dining and party venues set to open soon on Surin Beach.
