WineCraze.com, a website designed to help wine country tourists discover new wineries, has named their first six Destination Wineries of the Week. Selected wineries have invested in visitor amenities to make any visit memorable, whether it's a weekend getaway, business meeting, family reunion or wedding. All WineCraze.com's destination wineries offer tourist friendly features such as on-site lodging, restaurants, tasting rooms, gift shops, meeting rooms, concert venues, special events and many other amenities unique to each winery.

WineCraze.com's six recipients are:

• South Coast Winery Resort and Spa, Temecula, CA
• Glenora Wine Cellars, Dundee, NY
• Castello di Amorosa, Calistoga, CA
• Barboursville Vineyards, Barboursville, VA

The selected wineries represent some of the finest destinations in winery tourism. Attractions at the six wineries include a re-creation of a 13th century castle, one-of-a-kind bed and breakfast Inns, on-site gourmet restaurants, historic architectural ruins, award-winning wines with winery tours and tastings and absolutely gorgeous grounds. Information, including articles, videos, photos, website links and directions to each of these wineries can be found at WineCraze.com.

WineCraze.com offers two ways to search for winery content. There is a directory of over 1100 destination wineries from all over North America, searchable alphabetically or by region. Users can also interact with a dynamic WineCraze map. Both search methods offer links to content-rich winery pages that include links to winery websites, phone numbers and directions. Nearly all of the winery listing pages include videos of each winery and its grounds.
There's also a mobile version of WineCraze that provides directions while on the road. According to Chris Schwartz, WineCraze.com Partner, "While only a fraction of our users will visit the wineries in person, many of them will discover new wineries and visit them online. WineCraze is all about broadening the appreciation for wineries and their wines while providing quality information to help plan winery visits."
