Luxury lifestyle hotel, ME Ibiza, is set to turn up the heat this summer with a brand-new line up of music, food and events for the 2019 season. From having breathtaking views with Signature Cocktails at Radio Rooftop to soaking in the sun and revelling in the benefits of Sound Healing, ME Ibiza will bring a little something for everyone.
 
The hotel’s event series is part of ME by Meliá’s cultural initiative, ‘The Culture Collective’, which collaborates with creative minds and leading artists to provide deeply immersive local experiences across contemporary art, design, fashion and music.
 
To kick-off the season, ME Ibiza has partnered with renowned photographer, La Skimal, to host an exhibition throughout the hotel, which will provide a retrospective look at the island’s club scene and electronic music. Isabel Flores, known as “La Skimal”, has toured internationally showcasing her work in London, Madrid, Barcelona, Dominican Republic and Ibiza. To celebrate, ME Ibiza will host its season opening event at Radio Rooftop on 14 June 2019, where guests can view the exhibition, followed by an evening of music and cocktails. With breath-taking 360-degree views of the island’s coast and famous white sandy beaches, guests can enjoy cocktails whilst watching the sun go down at the rooftop bar.
 
Throughout July and August 2019, ME Ibiza will also have a pop-up restaurant at Radio Rooftop from renowned chef, José Miguel Bonet, the mind behind ES VENTALL. It will see the ‘revolutionary’ chef showcase a limited-edition menu, with a contemporary twist on Ibiza’s traditional fare.  Bonet brings his culinary experience from across the globe, blending the flavours and recipes of classic Ibizan cuisine with global cooking techniques. The menu will include fresh produce from ES VENTALL’s garden, which will give guests the opportunity to watch the award-winning chef prepare his dishes in the open-kitchen space.
 
With a series of events throughout the summer, guests will also be able to enjoy sets from some of the island’s hottest DJs, including DJ Pippi and DJ Willie Graff, Pacha’s longest reigning resident and Cielo collaborator. The hotel will display art installations from Ibizan and international artists with collections that celebrate life, culture and the island’s heritage; including Ana Novella’s Rose Gallery, Jordi Cervera’s “Ibiza is a maiden” exhibition and Li Ramet’s interdisciplinary art looking at the connection between luminosity, strength and movement of colour.
 
Throughout the summer, ME Ibiza will also host weekly sound healing sessions, a popular trend amongst millennial travellers looking to heal pain, refresh the mind and unwind. Complimentary AntiGravity Yoga,
 
Yoga and Pilates, and Personal Training services (at a charge) are also available with wellness partner Club del Sol upon request.
 
Located on a secluded bay near Santa Eulalia on the East coast of the island, ME Ibiza has minimalist Ibiza-inspired interiors with spacious design that complements the stunning sea views. ME Ibiza’s summer season runs from 26 April to 12 October 2019. Rates start from 250 € per night in low season and 500€ per night in high season.
