Located in the heart of the city on the exclusive via Veneto, Grand hotel via Veneto is within a few minutes walking distance from some of the most popular places of interest of the city such as Villa Borghese Gardens, the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps as well as the very fashionable via Condotti with its designer boutiques.
Although newly opened in 2009 as a five star luxury hotel, the site of the property has a long and documented history. The Hotel was created from the union and restoration of the two 19th century buildings and after nearly a decade of restoration and renovation, Grand hotel via Veneto was born, returning the buildings to their former glory as Rome’s leading address.
 
While the hotel’s façade is protected by Rome’s Fine Arts Authority, the interior design of the hotel is defined by timeless elegance embodied by handmade furniture inspired by Ruhlmann, the father of 1920s Art Deco. Custom-made Murano glass chandeliers, black granite floors and travertine stairways complement the sleek wood furniture throughout the hotel.  To add an extra touch of luxury,  this exclusive Hotel hosts an impressive art collection of orgininal oil paintings and graphic works by legendary artists such as Picasso, Miró, Dalí, de Chirico, Burri, Carrà, Guttuso, Schifano that will take you on a fascinating journey through contemporary art.
 
All 116 rooms and suites feature warm‐coloured, hand‐made furniture made of mahogany, rosewood and makassar and offer spacious bathrooms made of prestigious Carrara marble, complemented with a generous selection of Bvlgari amenities.
 
One of the most exceptional areas of the hotel is the 500 square metres Royal Suite, including a 250 square metres terrace overlooking Rome, Porta Pinciana and the beginning of the Villa Borghese Gardens. The Royal Suite is equipped with warm‐coloured furnishings: limited edition leather Hermès chairs, exclusive Rubelli tapestry sofas, brown mahogany furniture and original artwork by Rabarama. The suite consists of two bedrooms, a dining room with tea‐corner, a studio and three bathrooms in Carrara marble. To make it even more luxurious, guests of the Royal Suite have access to a private 25 square metres open‐air whirlpool bath and a private in-suite hammam.
